Francis Rei Paul Hamon CBE (1919 – 2008) was a self taught New Zealand landscape artist who used pen and ink to create artworks in the pointillism style. After discovering his talent at the age of 46, he began creating his distinctive artworks, which quickly gained in popularity and are now highly collectable. Hamon was also a keen conservationist and his works were inspired by the nature and bush of New Zealand.
